A Nice Clean Up Operation

I think a big slap on the back is called for following the recent clamp-down on frivolous and annoying posters. I have been viewing Thaivisa for quite a while, but was always put off registering by the hostile attitude to Newbies and the posts of a small number of members that continually hi-jacked topics for their own entertainment. There are still a few repeat offenders out there but their influence is on the wane. The site has now become a useful informational site and a lot of credit should be given to the Mods for a job well done. Keep up the good work.

I hadn't noticed. There are still the same old flamers and trolls, but some of the hijackings render the threads much more entertaining than they would otherwise have been.

Actually, thinking about it, TV seems a lot less hostile than it used to be.

^That's because of all the <deleted> being posted. :D

Mods, can you close this thread please. It breaks forum rule number 21:

"21) Not to discuss moderation publicly in the open forum; this includes individual actions, and specific or general policies and issues. You may send a PM to a moderator to discuss individual actions or email support (at) thaivisa.com to discuss moderation policy"

Or, are we allowed to discuss moderation, but only if we say nice things? :jap:
