Dutchman rolled by ladyboy gang

news1241-august2005.jpg

At 1.45am on the 31st July an on duty Police Officer spoke to a Dutch National at the Pattaya Police Station. The Dutchman’s name was Peter Teunisze aged 54 staying at the Garden lodge Hotel on Noth Pattya Rd.

He arrived with a Miss Kookai & explained that he had hailed a taxi in Pattaya 2nd Rd on Soi Yamato and upon getting into the vehicle, he was greeted by 3 Ladyboys, who became friendly to him and asked him to sing happy Birthday to one of them, which he did.

They thanked him and two sat on either side of him. A short distance later, they rang the bell and got off the taxi opposite Big C Shopping Centre, and walked away very quickly. Upon arrival at his hotel Peter noticed his wallet was missing as he could not pay the fare, so he requested the driver to return to the stop of the 3 ladyboys, but they had disappeared.

So he asked a Motor cycle Taxi to take him and his girlfriend to the police station where he reported the theft and explained that there was nearly sixty thousand Baht in it plus a Dutch driving licence, and also a key for the hotel safe and his room key together with a ATM card.

The Police officer Sub Lt Atiwat made a report, and also requested other police officers to search for the offenders, who could not be located, so a photo description was given to officers to assist with their identification and apprehension.

The message is loud and clear to visitors of Pattaya that they should not carry large amounts of cash when they go out, and refrain from ostentious displays of jewellery to tempt potential thieves.

Yeah. I've heard the ladyboys to be very good at stealing, especially on the beach road. Stoopid dutchman but points for the ladyboys in using the singing happy birthday technique.

Next time anyone ask you to sing happy birthday and they look a bit manly, make a swift exit :D .

Well now that the ladyboys know which hotel he is staying at and have the room keys etc. maybe they`ll go and help themselves to more birthday presents. :o
