MisterMan
Hi I have some old slides from the 60's. Not negatives just old slides. Very sentimental. WHere can I have them scanned and converted to a digital image? Does the big place in Chalong do this? Can I do it with a regular scanner? Thanks

Jimi007
My wife found some old shots from the 70's and I scanned them with a regular scanner, no problem at all! Gerd Gerd, MM is talking about 35mm color slides, not prints. I've never tried scanning a negative or slide on my HP flatbed scanner, it may work at a very high resolution setting, using Adobe Photoshop. There are special scanners for negatives and slides. I haven't seen or looked for one in years. Some large photo place may have one, but I have no clue if anywhere around here does. HP, Canon, Nikon and others make them. HP has them available here in Thailand. See link: HP Photo Scanners Edited November 24, 2010 by Jimi007
