Have been looking at the new rules on Air Asia's website but I cannot find an answer regarding Thai Nationals.....

My wife and I reside in Australia, she is here on a Spouse Visa and we are thinking of going to Thailand in March next year via Kuala Lumpar.

On previous trips we havent needed a visa but the rules have since changed. As far as I can see, I wont have a problem being an Australian Passport Holder

but what about my Wife using a Thai Passport?

Cheers.

Within ASEAN, all residents can travel between member countries without the need for a visa. At least for 'normal' travel and transits.

Simply present both your passports at KL immigration, and you'll get stamped with entry and waved through, no problem. Presumably, you're connecting on to Thailand? Then, just present same passports for your exit stamp, and 'job done'.

Your wife, as a Thai national, will be allowed to enter for one month without a visa, she must have six months validity on her passport from the day of entry.
