New Hotel In Hat Yai

Featured Replies

Does anybody know a new or newish hotel in Hat Yai? Last time there i stayed in the King Hotel which was fine but i'm sure for the same price there must be something newer. Any names and locations would be greatly appreciated.

There are several newer hotels around Lee Garden Plaza (Not Lee Garden Hotel).

Only about 5 min walk from King's.

Tell any tuktuk to go to hotels behind Lee Garden Plaza.

Have fun and if you are traveling by yourself, you can also check out many night spots around that neighborhood.

There are a newish hotel named: By My Guest on 75 Sanehanusorn Road. Just around the corner from old Kings Hotel. So much better then Kings and around 500B.

Hotel NEW SEASON is very new and good standard, plus free WIFI. just 5 minutes walk from the Shopping area.

no idea what KING hotels costs, New Season is around 900-1000. agoda has it for online-booking.

check tripadvisor for reviews.

highly recommended - usually Hotels in Hat Yai are old, decaying and awful. this one was a pleasant surprise

I used to stay at the King too. That place has really gotten shabby it seems.

In that same price range (but a bit more expensive) there is a place called City Park Hotel right across from the Carrefour. Its clean and if I recall rooms start at 600. Definitely nicer and newer than the King. There is a decent restaurant on site which becomes a "singer bar" at night. Its out of the main downtown/touristy area but its proximity to Carrefour makes it somewhat convenient. Easy to find tuk tuks/motorcycle taxis to go to and from there.

It has been years since I stayed in Hat Yai but always liked the Lee Garden Plaza as had good buffet on top and nice rooms with good security. Prior to staying there normally stayed at Central Hotel (not the department store Central) which was in same area as Kings but on 3rd road. Florida Hotel was also OK and had noon buffet. The original Lee Gardens was not that bad either. Kings was never (at least 15 years ago) that good but well known as share taxi to Penang ran from coffee shop next door. I know there other newer hotels that have opened in the last decade.
