Hi. I made a post earlier about HGH. Im sorry mod's I didnt know it was banned in Thailand? Also I read the forum rules as suggested and it does not mention it - it only mentions steroids and they are two different things totaly?

Im not looking to debate HGH here.... And with this new post I do not want any information on where to buy etc. I just want clarification. Is it actualy "banned" in LOS as the moderator has said? I honestly cant see any evidence of it being ilegal from basic Google research.

And if it is indeed banned... Why? Is it very harmful in some way?

There are several posters here on TV that have realy sung its praises. With that in mind, I was suprised to have my very first post closed within an hour of posting it!

Apologies; should have explained more.. Growth hormone is regarded in the same category as anabolic steroids. The use and prescription of this outside of a specialist hospital environment is not legal.

This is why physicians at other than the specialist environment will not prescribe this and pharmacies can not legally dispense it. Once this is the scenario, discussion on where to obtain etc falls under the same category. Thai Visa can not be associated with supporting illegal practices in the country.

Appreciated, thanks.

go find an endocrinologist etc...

The reason it's not over the counter is that if a person has a existing tumor for example in the prostate then HGH can make it grow.

If your PSA is acceptable then it's great if you can afford it... Subsequently it should be monitored to make sure a prostate cancer is not present or growing some months after HGH commences.

Because of the cost it's a good idea anyway to use a doctor because they can make sure it's working.

Do you know your IGF-1 level? (Insulin Growth Factor 1)

Idea level is in the 350 range.

Medically many doctors don't think its a problem until it's below 85 and have major symptoms of fatigue.

If one cannot afford to administer HGH then these measures can help

Lifestyle factors that increase IGF-1: low-fat, low-sugar diets; brief, intense exercise (not aerobic exercise lasting over one hour); not eating carbohydrates within 4 hours of bedtime. Yes, all the things your mother and your doctor have told you to do – you still need to do (surprise, surprise)! Another factor that increases IGF-1 is the correction of significant snoring (sleep apnea).

Foods and supplements that increase IGF-1: whey protein; creatine (5 grams per day); dairy products (although this may be from the whey protein in milk)

Medicines that increase IGF-1: Aricept, Exelon (These are medicines used for Alzheimer’s disease. Although they may help these patients by increasing their IGF-1 levels, these medicines are not indicated for use by anyone other than those with Alzheimer’s disease.) Please note – oral estrogens decrease IGF-1 levels, but transdermal estrogens do not.

In addition some supporting supplements and hormones like

ZMA

DHEA

Pregnenolone

melatonin

and many others can help if a low level is caused by a deficiency in one or many areas.
