"Which member of your family do you love the most, and why"?

I have been asked this question four times in job interviews by Thais and when I politely ask "How does one measure love"? the question is forgotten.

One time I asked the Interviewer if she had any children, she had 3 so I turned it on to her and took great delight in watching her squirm.

I've been here too long to wonder why Thais do the things they do, just wondering if anyone else has been posed the same question and what replies you offered!

I've got two kids a son and a daughter. My son was the apple of eveyones eye and mine until. My daughter was born with a very minor physical disability.

I feel now, I must have shown more love to my daughter. Which is a shame because my son is a lovely person.

If the interviewer were female I'd probably say my mother for bringing me in to the world.

If the interviewer were male I'd probably say my father for teaching me how to be a man.

And if his office is decorated in lace you say it's your sister for teaching you how to fix snags in your nylons. :o

You must know, of course, that most interviewers in Thailand get a standard list of questions for farang from the internet (Google: type in "farang questions numbnuts")

they then go through them one by one, totally ignoring any answers

:o:D:D
