Hey, any suggestions on how to make a Krathong? My family is celebrating Loi Krathong in the US, and i would like any help available on how to make a Krathong. Any help would be great. Thanks.

Slice a trunk of banana plant 1.5 inches thick, wrap with banana plant leaves, using bana plant stems as ties. Attach flowers by sharpening their stems and pressing them into the banana plant trunk, add dimes/nickels/cents and joysticks and then float off into your nearest lake/tarn. Be sure to make a wish as you float you Kratong, preferably an altruistic wish. Good luck!

See if you can take one of those balloons back next time. They are about 2 metres high and 1 metre around a float up into the sky for millions of iles and are much loved by TG Jockeys in Chiang Mai. See how your home country relates to them.

Just a word of caution about the hot air baloons as these can be a fire hazard in dry country if they get stuck on a tree as I witnessed in Chiang Mai. Otherwise best of luck on the Krathong.

I think that i'm late for this year, but I don't think that it's by too far since it is all about the full moon right? Anyway, we all need to ask forgiveness and wish for better luck. Even if it is not the exact right time. hehe
