Just to say I came acroos the above in Lotus Rama 4 yesterday.

The mustard's by a company called Oak Lane and is 65 baht for a 185g jar. Not the greatest, but at the price more than reasonable.

The tea comes in an old style loose tea box. It's cardboard colored with a large red T on the front. 89baht for 40 bags, cheaper than that liptons <deleted>, and you can actually taste it.

Both are well worth a try.

Have you tried the Thai mustard powder, it's called McGarrett and the small tin is available in most supermarkets for about 15 Baht and makes excellent mustard, equal if not better than Colemans.

I believe "Oak Lane" is a TESCO discount brand - designed to appeal to shoppers who find the "TESCO Value" label a little bit beneath them !

Tescos own brand tea bags arent bad, i hate paying over the odds for tetley and other uk tea bags that farangs bring over in there suitcases , and charge top price for them.
