How Much Does A Nurse Earn In Thailand/Viet Nam

Featured Replies

Somebody told me that an SRN earns 30,000 baht a month, that seems very high. My ex g/f has gone to work in Viet Nam as an SRN because she says she can earn a lot more there, how much in Viet Nam?

My wifes Mother works in a Hospital in the suburbs of Bangkok, She gets 300baht a day, It all depends on what and if your girlfriend specializes in anything , The Doctor who was killed in the bad accident the other day only got 40,000baht, a month and that was on Thai TV ,He was a cancer specialist.

Even working every day of the month and doing a double shift it is going to be less than 20,000 baht a month so the 30,000 baht a month was way off, not that I thought that it could be right. But I understand that Thai nurses are paid well in Viet Nam but it seems odd that Viet Nam would need Thai nurses or could pay them more than they can get in Thailand
