Exchange Rates

Featured Replies

Could someone tell me whether it is more profitable to exchange in the airport or in the city or do both offer the same rate? If it's more profitable in the airport, do they offer slightly better rates before or after immigration? If different rates are offered in the airport, could someone give me an idea of the difference.

Thanks.

Forget the airport. They always offer less

I have found some of the banks pay a better rate

Go to super rich money changer, near Pratunam, they give you the best rate

Could you state exactly where they are. The only info I could find on the net appears to be several years old.

Many thanks

Their website states that that maximum transaction is 150,000 Baht, is that correct do you know. If correct is it possible to make several transactions to that amount at once or is it the case that when you've hit 150,000 Baht, you can't exchange any further currency.
