I remember a Byron Bay NYE over a decade ago some girl I fancied but who I never got the time of day from sent me a text just after the Countdown expressing all kinds of delightful sweet nothings and whatnot. Heart brimming with love for all and mankind, I quickly called her only to discover I was an unintended recipient of course. She apologised profusely. We both had a good chuckle at the mixup.
