What has happened to the trash collection, I used to have my bins emptied about every 3 days but now its more like once every 10 days which means the bins are overflowing.

It may help people to understand or explain your rant if they knew where you were ? I can't say I have had a problem with the trash. If the binmen don't take it away then the recycling people have it asap.

Its not a rant its a question, I am in Chaweng Parkway 1, which is close to Bangkok Samui Hospital

I am out in the sticks at Plali Laem. The common bincage that I dump my stuff at is cleared every day.

Your problem may be a local issue. Contact the people in the Tessaban where you signed up for bin collection. When I signed up (some 5 years ago) the girl there gave me her telephone number and said that if there was ever a problem - to give her a call.

Five years on, no problems, so I threw her number away just after Christmas. (Wifey gave me a new wallet.)

Just an observation - the bin cage used to be closer to my house, but it became an eyesore. Lots of 'non paying people' dumping garden rubbish, building rubbish etc. The Tessaban move the cage closer to the head man's place! Presumably so that he could check out those who were 'fly tipping'.

the binmen collect everyday from me ..... but will only collect inside the bin, not anything left around it, unless it is worth money to them !

but i do wish the local goverment would do something about the endless trash and bin bags along the road !! ,

i wish they would drive better. they need a man with one of those light savers behinde the truck. u know 8 people die every year from crshing into the back of those
