francois Posted August 29, 2005 Share Posted August 29, 2005 hi' I'm about to begin an install of free-bsd 5.4 to have a taste of it, and may be adopt it for all network works ... always ready to chage for a better does anyone use free-bsd here? (except cndvic of course) btw, cndvic, any tips for a clean install? based: pc PIII 800EB, 512mbsdram pc133, Gforce4 Mx440, sound on MB. nothing fancy inside , cdrom and cdburner liteon. just attached an old ZIP100 on usb. francois Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I looked up the old link, for some help. This is where I found the most useful information. http://www.freebsd.org/ Oh on installation make sure you have all the "drivers" handy for your hardware. Stopping in the middle of something is a pain.
