Please let me know, folks, ANY info you have about:

Performance cars for sale (eg. muscle cars) in Thailand;

Performance motorsports events (especially drag racing; but also touring car style circuit racing);

Where to buy peformance cars & parts in Thailand;

Info about registering V8 foreign vehicles in Thailand..

and anything else that could possibly smell like methanol or nitro... ;)

I used to organise/promote/manage huge muscle car shows in Aussie and have huge connections in Top Fuel drag racing!

Moving to Thailand in the near future.. want to at least TRY to keep some motorsports in my blood ;)

Cheers & 2011 beers..

Cossie :)

Performance cars for sale (eg. muscle cars) in Thailand; Something like this? http://one2car.com/CHEVROLET_CAMARO/C11110644

Performance motorsports events (especially drag racing; but also touring car style circuit racing) Check out Bangkok Drag on Youtube;

Where to buy peformance cars & parts in Thailand; Parts you will have to import unless you drive Toyota or Nissan.

Info about registering V8 foreign vehicles in Thailand.. You mean import? Forget it. Do a search here.

As Dr Evil notes, forget the personal import idea.. Here's a starting point for old muscle cars:

http://www.thaiamericancarclub.com/

As for motor racing, Bira has the most going on: http://www.bira.co.th/

Drags run in BKK and CM (though CM is not a full 1/4 mile).

Most popular motor racing here is motorbike and pickups, followed by the Honda and Toyota OMR's and then drifitng comps.

You get a COMPLETE engine for that? I don't believe it. 5 grand US? Must be something wrong with it.

Never heard of a 600 ci Chevy, that's near 10 litre :huh:. Looked at your link but no good. ;)

I guess it sold...

looks the goods, I doubt the 1000hp though with an under-driven 6/71 on it though.

Could be, I guess. I think it would move quite well.

Where would one drive it, though? I'd be scared shitless.

Seems Dart make a BB Chevy based 600ci block motor, this one for marine use, cool eh. :)
