We are arriving at Ko Lanta on 26th of Jan and want to stay for three nights at some budget guesthouse (400-600 Baht) - could you please advise? I realise it`s not going to be WOW, but it`s important that the atmosphere is nice etc.

During these days we are going to look for a house to rent for a month - so If anyone has some spotted - please shout!))

You are right on the water at Klong Dao, which is a great beach to wander around at night (bars / restaurants) as well as sunning in the day.
