Have been wondering about this when I see some mixed famlies about. And also wonder if it causes any embarrassment on either side?

EDIT: Ah, so that's what a public poll is.. May have to do this one again from scratch..

Another validation thread.

My MiL has about 6 months head start on me in life. But like her young and incredibly beautiful daughter, she doesn't mind.

My ex- fiancées mum back in the US was a year younger than me.

I do see an alarming trend here? OMG... as I get older, I am going for older women!

My friend's mother in law is older than him, step mother is younger than him, and his wife is older. He's got a half sister/brother on the way. Confusing.

Me? I don't understand marriage. It seems far too restrictive.

Yes it is confusing.

And many exeptions to whatever the rule may be.

But basically, this is about old western men buying young thai women.

But i could be wrong.

Rules... schmules.

The OP didn't mention anything of the sort.

But you could be right.

Not hardly, she's well old enough to be my mother.

Are you speaking for CheGuava?

No, I'm speaking for me personally. I was answering the question "Are you older than your mother in law?"

Did I miss something??
