Good Lawyer Office In Krabi

hello, i plan to buy a land in Krabi do you know a good lawyer office ? Do you think it's secure to do a leasing contract with my gf ? How much it cost to do a leasing contract please ? Thanks

The first part of your question is easy,there are no good lawyers in Krabi,best try a law firm in Phuket, preferably with a farang lawyer this will not be a guarrentee

of the law firm but it should be better than those in Krabi,who seem to be incompetent or corrupt, probably both.

Regarding the land lease,this depends on the lawyer,and how good he is in drawing up a tight lease agreement in your favour, make sure you have a translated copy in your own language,

and better to take it home with you and read it thoroughly.

When doing business in Thailand never trust a smile and remember,buyer beware.

Having said this, if you are sensible there is no reason why a strong lease with your g/f should not give you the required protection.
