I want the escorted tour/tours to, if its not available here i will get the necessary information sent to me from Australia

Probably a safari tour and a fly in visit to Victoria Falls, if no agent can arrange it here i will get my daughter in law to send

me the pamphlets with a choice of different all inclusive packages, which you know are available there

Good luck..sounds as if your going to need it?

You crack me up. You're getting pamphlets about a holiday to South Africa, sent to you from Australia. :D . Perhaps you can arrange for an Australian to come with you as part of the package, and wipe your backside for you!

You've called a few people on this thread smart <deleted>. With your inability to arrange a holiday without needing pamphlets sent through the post, I think we're probably all smart <deleted> compared to you mate.

I could spend 2 hours on the internet, and know more about SA, all the tours available, and have them all booked at a much cheaper price than your agent, sitting behind a desk in Melbourne, ever could. why you are putting your faith in them so blindly is beyond me.

Peter, you seem to have quite a following on here of the gormless, garrulous and gobemouche!

Everytime you post, they come out in their hoards, from Bang Tao to Cobham, to swallow the bait and wriggle on the hook like a slimey mackeral!

You must be be giggling behind your keyboard as they continually perform like trained seals!

Your threads seem to be the most popular on the Phuket forum of late.

It makes an entertaining change from all the "Where can I buy a can of WD40/piece of plexiglass/pizza/etc threads.

Keep up the good work.

I think Mr Callen has found a buddie to go to South Africa with. If between them they can work out how to book it that is! I hope those pamphlets don't get lost in the post.

They need to lay off the liquid alzheimer's methinks. They used to be uncertain, now they're not so sure.......

Not knowing anything about Cambodia, we booked plane trips, accommodation, tours of Siem Reap through a travel agent in the pier road in Chalong just near the police box. (I tried to get a photo of The Grinch and Lieutenant [Rude Word Sons Shouldn't Use in Front of Their Mothers] but they were apparently inside watching the soccer on satellite TV).

It worked very well. The hotel was a bit of a ripoff, but everything, including transfers from the airport, worked smoothly. We will use this lady again when we go to Vietnam.

The only glitch was my son's Thai girlfriend who was quite indignant about having to pay a Visa fee. whistling.gif

I've been to South Africa for a lengthy period in my youth. No plans to return, not sure I would be allowed in anyway. :whistling:

If you read the thread properly you would see I made some suggestions for the OP for his holiday. They weren't met with much enthusiasm, but I didn't feel it neccesary to have a temper tantrum like some of you little princesses on here. :D

Checking so far travel agents can do a much better price on a complete holiday package

They get a lot better prices than individuals do and still make there profit

That's OK if you want someone else to do all your thinking for you. I prefer to make all my own decisions, stay in hotels that I prefer, start and finish tours when it suits me etc etc.

Not only that, but seeing as you are based in Phuket, every holiday you go on will have to coincide with your holiday back to Oz. So to save a few quid, you are sacraficing a lot of control, freedom and choice. Each to their own I guess.
