Crocodile/Elephants In Khao Yai

We were camping in Khao Yai NP last week and while hiking along the river near rhe camping area I came across a large croc sunning itself. I estimate it was about 3 M in length. On the same trip also saw a large bull elephant that wandered into the camping area.

Think you forgot the pics.

Yeah, you're right. I tried to attach both pics but they didn't "attach". Until I figure out how to do it you will have to take my word about the croc.

Sounds like a special trip. It's always great seeing animals in the wild.

To post photos there are various methods, but most often they have to be saved on some internet site where you copy and paste them from. There are many sites that offer that program. I enclose all my photos with [ ]. Then, "image" is insterted between the first [ ] and "/image" is inserted between the second [ ]

The majority of people who visit Khao Yai never see anything too interesting. I guess me and the OP are just lucky.

Are you saying you saw that in Khao Yai?

I know they recently found crocs in Kaeng Krachan but I thought that crocodiles were extinct in Thailand KK asides.

Yes, that's right. In Khao Yai last week, around 8 Feb.

elephants are everywhere, they might be used in the national parks to do some jobs, like clearing paths.

I believe I was one of the people posting three years ago about spotting a croc at Khao Yai. I was told at that time by a guide that there were two there, and that they were introduced by parties unknown.
