Not sure if this has been covered but as from January 2011, you now have to email for an appointment to hand your visa application in at the Spanish embassy at the Lake Rajada Building in Bangkok.

I couldn't find a website with any information so my Wife went down yesterday and was told to email the following address for an appointment: [email protected]

She was told it can take up to 14 days to get an a appointment time, but I emailed them yesterday and said that my wife needed to return to Chiang Mai asap and they gave her an appointment for today.

They gave us an appointment 14 days in advance and we asked to change and they did. Also found them very helpfull when asking questions via e-mail.
