Laos Visa Fees

Was to amused to see the 'official' Visa fees to Laos (from the Laos Embassy web site) vary so much. Example UK/USA is 1,400 Baht and Canada 1,680 Baht ! But why a Western country like Sweden is 1,240 Baht and a poor country Nepal is 1,600.

Probably has to do about reciprocal fees charged by those countries toward Laos for the same service.

Indeed, that is the stated reason. Try to pay in US $. You'll save a bundle.
