I just popped down to the local 7/11 which involves a walk past the Soi 23 end of Soi Cowboy and all the bars appear to be closed, every bar that I could see is in complete darkness apart from the Old Dutch which is the only one that's normally open on days like today, presumably because it's a restaurant.

Just a heads up in case anyone was thinking of popping over this side of town.

I remember this night about ten years ago and every bar was closed except Larry's Dive which was doing a roaring business serving alcohol as if it was a normal day. The place - to say the least - was very busy. Strange that!

What about Nana will that be open?

Hmmmm...my local pub near Silom was serving alcohol when I walked in at 8:45pm! How'd they do that?
