Hello all,

My situation is this. I have been studying at a Thai university for the past three years and i finish this month. I already have a job lined up for me and they'll give me a work permit. My original visa is a Non-Education which i used for a year before i started getting the year extensions based on marriage. I've received the extension for a few years now. My question is what visa do i have at the moment and could i get a work permit with it? If not, do i have to leave the country to get a non-b or non-o? Also, what would be better a non-b or a non-o? BTW.. it's a teaching job and i'm Canadian.

Thank you in advance.

You seem to have extensions of stay based on marriage.

You can get a Work Permit with that.

It is also a better option than an extension based on employment.

Lose your job and you do not lose your permission to stay.
