February 25, 201115 yr Looking for a cheap room for a few nights next week, convenient by metro or walking to the Fortune centre. Am i asking for the impossible to be under 700bahts a night with wifi or internet connection... Have'nt stayed in Bangkok for a few years so not up to date on transport links, prices etc... Anyone know what time a day starts for booking as arriving at the unearthly hour of 4am at Mochit bus station. Thanks for any info.
February 25, 201115 yr There's a cheap hotel that I used to use called Watana Mansion in Ratchadapisek Soi 17. Nothing special, but I always found it to be OK. It's a short walk to Suthisarn MRT (5 mins) and it's only 3 stops from Fortune (Phra Ram 9) The link for the Hotel is here The reception here is open 24 hours, so checking in at 4am is no problem. They have internet in the lobby, but I'm not sure about wi-fi in the rooms, sorry.
