Florida man rapes toddler at SeaWorld

ORLANDO, FLORIDA (BNO NEWS) -- Police in Florida have arrested a 26-year-old man who is accused of raping a toddler in SeaWorld while her mother was on a ride, local media reported on Saturday.

WESH-TV reported that Michael Grzybowicz was arrested on February 19 after allegedly raping a 2-year-old girl on February 17 while they were at SeaWorld in Orlando. The mother had asked Grzybowicz to watch the toddler while she and her boyfriend went on a ride.

Grzybowicz went to SeaWorld together with the family of the toddler, although it was not immediately clear if the victim was related to him.

According to the Orange County Sheriff's Office, as reported by WESH-TV, investigators found photos of the rape on Grzybowicz' phone. The same photos were also e-mailed to Grzybowicz' Yahoo! e-mail account, although Grzybowicz claimed he did not know how the pictures ended up on his phone.

In a brief statement, SeaWorld said "nothing is more important" than the safety and welfare of its guests, and added that its team members have been trained to report any kind of suspicious behavior. "Illegal behavior of any type is not tolerated at our parks. Our thoughts are with the family at this very difficult time," the statement said.

Grzybowicz remains at the Brevard County Jail on charges of possessing child pornography. He is also expected to be charged with sexual battery and lewd and lascivious molestation.
