Can anybody confirm that the immigration at Chamburi Square does 90-day reports(living in BKK, Non-Immigrant O-Visa) as former one stop shop at BOI, Phayonyon Rd.

did. Thanks for any up-date.

Believe they only do for those on BOI (one stop) extensions of stay now. For normal 90 day reporting in Bangkok Chiang Watanna is the current office.

You have the option of reporting by mail:

procedure:

  1. Copy of all passport pages (up to the latest arrival stamp in the Kingdom or latest visa stamp)
  2. Copy of arrival/departure card TM.6 (front and back)
  3. Previous notifications of staying over 90 days (if any)
  4. Completely filled in and signed notification form TM.47
  5. Envelope with 5 Baht stamp affixed and return address of foreigner for the officer in charge to send back the lower part of form TM. 47 after having received the notification. This part must be kept for reference and for future notifications of staying over 90 days.
  6. The above mentioned documents must be sent by registered mail and the receipt of the registration kept by the foreigner.
Send the mail before the renewal date 7 days to 90 DAYS REGISTRATION,
    IMMIGRATION DIVISION 1
    120 MOO 3, CHAENGWATTANA ROAD,SOI 7,
    LAKSI, BANGKOK. 10210

Thanks for this detailed information.

I am just a bit confused by point 6. "must be sent by registered mail and the receipt of the registration kept by the foreigner." It means also to send the original receipt of the registered mail???

If so, no problem, just want to be sure.

Some more questions:I need to report right at Song Khran. To be on the safe side, I will send some days before that period. But will I "loose" these days or will they add the new 90 days to the latest reporting day they requested me to report to them(i.e. presently due date is April 17th. Will the new 90 days start at THIS date or when they handle my mail?)

No proof of residence required?

Thanks again.

No, you keep the receipt of the registered mail. You send the original 90 day slip you got back from when you last time reported.

You have to report before the due date if you apply by mail. Up to 7 days after the report date is only for people who report in person. Normally starts from due date.

No proof of residence required.

This will be the 1st time to report(did visa-runs before), so can't send any copy of 90-days report of course.... Once again thank you for your support.
