Hi everyone,

I've had a look through multiple different sites and areas of this forum but I hoped someone could give me a quick answer to a question which I have.

I'm looking to stay in Thailand for 3 months later this year. Ideally I'm trying to avoid a visa run and just get a visa to last for the duration.

I've an Irish passport and my Welsh girlfriend will be traveling also.... we're both under 30.

Is a 90 day visa an available option for us?

Would we need to go through the embassy for this or is there a recommended company which anyone within this forum recommends?

Finally, what is the fines if we go a day or two over our stay on the visa?

A huge thanks in advance for all help and advice offered.

Not likely to get a 90 day visa, but you could get a Tourist Visa, entry good for 60 days, and could be extended 30 days for 1900 Baht. No need to leave the country for a border run.

Thanks Beechguy. Sorry for a silly question but how do I go about extending the visa for the extra 30 days?

Cheers

Go to any immigration office with two passport photos fill out a forum and pay 1900 baht. Simple.

That's awesome. Thanks to both of you for your help.
