Hi Everyone

I'm on a Multiple 3 Entry Visa here and had it extended once at the Immigration Office- so far 90 days. Then I did a visa run to malaysia and got another 60 days = 150 days. This week I have to do my second visa run which also will be the third entry into Thailand and the last one on this visa. Normally I should get another 60 days which will get me till 11, 12 of May. But I'm planning to start a course soon which will take till the 20. of May, that means my Visa will run out before I finish the course and I can't leave during that course.

Can I get another 30 days extension at the immigration maybe, i thought it is only possible once to extend it for another 30 days? Is it possible to extend 3 times then on a multiple entry visa, can't be?

Also after having an extension stamp in the passport already, I can't go to Penang to get a new single entry Visa, apperently the don't like it there. So the best is probably KL

Thank you very much for any comments!!!

Why not go to Cambodia? They are still giving out double entry tourist visa until March 31, Free. Lao may not give them to you.

That would be the embassy in Phnom Phen then would it? I have chosen KL because flights seam cheaper to Malaysia than to Cambodia. Need to look into flights again.

Thanks for the suggestion and thanks for the contact details!!!! Thanks a lot!

I suspect they did not understand your question as it most surly is possible most places. Any tourist visa entry can normally be extended for 30 days without question. If they will not do this it is a local decision and not general policy. But all entries have to be made during the period visa is valid so often the second extended 30 day stay must be cut a little short to make a third entry while visa is valid.

I suspect they may have thought you were asking about getting another 30 days after getting 30 days extension; rather than after a new 60 day entry.

Update on extension:

Yes I have been given another 30 days extension at the Samui Immigration Office, it wasn't a problem at all. So u Guys were right!

May Visa will expire on the 07. of April, according to the helpfull staff there I can do another Visa Run before the 07. of April and will get another 60 days on my multiple Entry Visa. That's exactly what lopburi3 mentioned early, cutting the second extension a bit short and coming back on the same Visa before it expires.

Big Thank's to gotlost, lite beer and lopburi 3 for sharing information and to Thai Visa for running this site!!!!
