Tropicalevo
I have grown used to the cars, trucks, lorries and motorbikes driving at night with no lights. I am struggling to take on board these people who insist on pushing a pushchair (complete with passenger) at night, on the road, with no lights! Last night I am driving along a dark and winding road when out of the gloom suddenly appears a double pushchair, being pushed by someone in dark clothes. It's pitch black of course and there are no lights except the one on my bike. Just managed to avoid a nasty accident! Ugh. They seem to be all over the place in Choengmon, Ban Rak and Plai Laem. Folks - if you MUST walk the kids at night - take a torch or some other light so that we can see you.
Boater
another hate to add to this is parents allowing there children to play on the roads, or next to them......
joe84330
i love this place but i don't think i'd ever consider putting my kids in a stroller and pushing it down any portion of the main roads. it's rather unfortunate that we don't have any legitimate sidewalks but hey that's not really part and parcel with the thai way of life so...
