My sister and her husband will be visiting Bangkok for 2 nights and were hoping to maximize their stay with a quality tour of the city.

Does anyone recommend any half day coach tours of the city, perhaps taking in the Palace and or Monasteries/Wats?

They'll be arriving on a Monday afternoon and leaving on a Wednesday.

They'll also have a 7 hour 25 min stopover in Bangkok commencing at 4.10am on their outbound flight to Europe and were hoping to make use of this time.

They're considering a taxi drive to night market on the River.

I think it's Khlong Talat Market?

Is it worth the trip and would they be cutting it fine?

What options would you explore if you had 7 hours (including passing back through customs)?

Many thanks

I guess I don't really understand this. If their layover begins at 4:10 in the morning, why are they thinking of going to a night market?

Although it's a night market (spectacular lights and vistas of life on the river) most business takes place between 4am -6am.
