farang000999 Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 Hi, Leaving Thailand. I have a black leather couch from Index. Besides posting ads in the usual places which nobody ever responds to, anyone know of any shops around Bangkok that you can sell your furniture to if it is good quality?
chooch7 Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 it all depends on your price...........................just give it to charity.........easier and youll feel good
pauljones Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 One more. You can post a photo on the boards in front of the Villa Markets.

craigt3365 Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 Let's move this over to the Bangkok Forum. Plus, you can also try our classifieds!
Griizley Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 If the price is right I have found ThaiVisa Classifieds and Craigslist to be helpful for attracting buyers.

bbradsby Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 (edited) Thaivisa & Craigslist ads work! But your level of response to posted ads is all about the price, really. Edited March 20, 2011 by bbradsby
mstribling Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 Try asking some of your Thai friends where the post ads and maybe have them post an ad for you.

tonititan Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 I sold some furniture on Craigslist last year. I asked for very reasonable prices, and I had dozens of inquiries. The sofa was sold within a matter of days.

I can't remember the exact numbers, but I think that the sofa was only about 9-10 months old, in very good condition (only a few small scratches). I think I sold it for about 60-65% of what I paid for it, and the buyer provided transport.
nocturn Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 your problem may lie with the fact the couch is butt ugly
