I have a Playstation 2 console with a bunch of games which I would be happy to donate to some orphanage or boarding school or whatever.

In my opinion this is the worst possible thing to donate, all I've seen in internet cafe's is people doing online gaming.

That's right...mugg.

I guess you can see this as a positive in at least two different ways.

1 - the game system will keep them occupied inside, rather than being out mixing with the wrong crowd or drinking/drugging

2- It has a monetary value and can be sold,traded or further donated.

And yes, go amongst the internet cafes and make forum members of all men(meaning humans, not just males)
