About 5-10 mins by taxi, depending on time of day. (15-20 if you go during the peak). 50-70 baht

Another idea: Cross the walkover to the motorcycle taxis at the Ban Khai market. They take a back soi over to Raum Rudee on to Suk. A few years ago 20 baht.

Its not Soi 2 that runs from Rama IV along the railway and expressway, its Duang Phithak.

Even better is cut through Ploenchit center to Soi 2 and then pay 20 baht to go through the Raja Hotel parking lot to Soi 4.
