Schools

Featured Replies

I have been considering moving to Krabi from the Phuket cesspool for some time. Now the circumstances are favorable and I was wondering are there decent schools in the area. Previously I have heard negative feed back. I have 2 kids a girl of 12 and a boy of 9. Would be most interested to hear of the options? Thank you in advance....

To a point, it depends what you mean by decent.

If you are talking about the top international schools in Phuket then I am sure you are going to be disappointed.

If you are talking about thai government schools I don't know if they are any better or worse in Krabi than in Phuket.

Like you I have heard nothing good about schools in Krabi personally but there are a couple of recommendations here:

IMHO, I would be looking at moving my kids away from Krabi for their education, not to Krabi as it is at the moment.

Thank you for responding and the link! You have just affirmed my feelings. I posted in the hope that somebody had something positive to offer about schools in Krabi. I may have a rethink... Cheers!
