Former Monk accused of stealing money from Pattaya Temple

PATTAYA: -- A Thai Man who recently left the Monkhood, is accused of returning to his Temple and stealing money from donation boxes totaling 280,000 Baht along with some Chinese Currency. Khun Niroot aged 20 left the Nong Get Noi Temple in Banglamung on 18th March and while he was there he indicated to other monks that he was experiencing financial difficulties. It is thought that as the monks went for lunch, Khun Niroot is accused of entering the room of the Chief Monk and stealing the money.
