Is the 44 still closed and how about the 'old road' from Phuket, this ends in Phun Pin where supposedly heavy floods with 4 meter deep water are wreaking havoc.

Just got off the phone with a friend in Surat. She says it‘s ok to travel from the 44 to Donsak. Looking to go the other way (Phuket) myself on Friday...

Well, the 44 is open, as long as you can get from Kanchanadit to the turn off to Donsak, we should both be fine. Please give an update on Friday, I'm about to leave for the other way around on Saturday!
