How To Get From Krabi/Phuket To Surat

Featured Replies

Is the 44 still closed and how about the 'old road' from Phuket, this ends in Phun Pin where supposedly heavy floods with 4 meter deep water are wreaking havoc.

How to get via Ranong to Surat, please advise and can you get from Surat to Donsak? Any advice appreciated.

Apparently the 44 between Krabi and Surat opened today.

How's the situation between the highway and Donsak, is that still flooded?

Just got off the phone with a friend in Surat. She says it‘s ok to travel from the 44 to Donsak. Looking to go the other way (Phuket) myself on Friday...unsure.gif

Thanks Matt,

Well, the 44 is open, as long as you can get from Kanchanadit to the turn off to Donsak, we should both be fine. Please give an update on Friday, I'm about to leave for the other way around on Saturday!

Well if it's any help, the Bangkok buses are running again, so you must be able to get through limbos.
