Hi,

I have to extend my tourist visa for 30 days additional at the immigration.

My question is : Can i do at the airport at Bangkok , because its closer for me than to go at immigration.

Nope but at the airport you can pay for over stay. But over staying even for one day is a risk.

There is no immigration office at airport anymore (only that used for entry/exit) so you must use local office or below service if in Bangkok. Remember doing early does not lose any time as extension still starts at end of current permitted to stay.

Thai Immigrations in Bangkok now runs a "Mobile Immigration Service" on the second and third Tuesday of each month. The second Tuesday they're at Buddy Lodge Motel on KhaoSan Road, and the third Tuesday they're at Bumrungrad Hospital (on the 10th floor, I think).
