Visa Extension Requirements Update

Hi all, i just thought i would update everyone on what you need at the Immigration Dept for extending your Tourist Visa for thirty days.

1. Your passport
2. 1,900 THB
3. 1 photocopy of your ID page in your passport
4. 1 photocopy of the page showing the last arrival stamp into Thailand and the attached Depature Card
5. 1 photocopy of the Tourist Visa

You will need to fill in a form while you are there and then it just takes around twenty minutes or so to process, depending on how busy they are.

Thanks for the report.

The form is a TM.7 and normally requires a current photo to be attached. Was photo not required?

Sorry for the late reply. Yes you do still require 1 passport size photo. The form is a TM7 which they give you there, and the office we went to was the new one at Chaengwattana Road. Dont go to the one at Soi Suan Plu as this is just for Laos and Cambodian nationals.
