September 30, 200520 yr Are there any sports that you generally will not watch? By that I mean you would rather turn off the TV and do something else? .....or go to a different part of the bar?
September 30, 200520 yr Easy choice for me, Cricket. September 30, 200520 yr Bowls, squash, table tennis and that sport the scottish are good at that involves chasing some sort of disc down a lane with a brush/mop.
October 2, 200520 yr Basketball. And Portuguese Salmon Racing comes a close second. Give me Dwyle Flonking anytime. http://www.heronter.org/Library/GameoftheMonth/dwyle.html
October 2, 200520 yr Soccer and golf. They could make soccer much more interesting by putting a dozen balls on the field. Golf could be improved if they allowed tackling. By-the-way, golf is not a sport, it's a game... somewhat like checker or chess. You don't have to be fit to play golf.
October 2, 200520 yr Basketball - it is just mind numbing. The game has no variation - they just take turns to have an attack and usually score.
October 2, 200520 yr Wrestling. However, who calls that a sport? I've never considered dominos to be a spectator sport either.
October 2, 200520 yr I will turn over if darts is on , enjoy playing it though....... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'll always remember the commentary of Sid Waddell at the climax of an epic multi set 'match' between Leighton Reese (8 pints) and Jocky Wilson (10 pints): "what athletes these men are!"
October 2, 200520 yr most Olympic sports I can't bear, until it comes to time for the actual Olympics themselves, where I am glued to all sports and become an expert on the Romanian Underwater Basket Weaving Team.
October 2, 200520 yr Baseball, Basketball, Ice Hockey and American Football. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ever been to a live Ice Hockey game Prof?

October 2, 200520 yr Soccer, Cricket, Formula 1, Basketball, baseball, darts, golf. However I actively go out of my way to watch Rugby (union or league), and Moto GP oand Super Bikes. I'll also be watching the Bathurst 1000 on ABCAsiaPacific next week.
October 2, 200520 yr Cricket, too much pomp, too much standing around, Admittedly I really don't fully understand the game,
October 2, 200520 yr Golf, snooker, darts and motor sports ... watching gridlocked traffic in Bangkok is marginally more exciting ...zzzzzzzz

October 2, 200520 yr Soccer. I have tried, but I cannot bring myself to get interested in a sport where nobody scores most of the time! Sorry to most of the population of the world. I also have problems with the sheepdog trials Edited October 2, 200520 yr by Old Croc
