Just out of curiosity is it a simple thing to animate an avatar?

I’m not an expert but know my way around basic computer stuff. I see several posters have created their own animated avatars so maybe it ain’t that difficult.

Any help and advice or even step by step instructions will be appreciated.

Essentially it's a series of still images saved as 1 animated GIF file.

Google is often your best friend - this one steps you though using Adobe ImageReady - principles are consistent..
