Breaking A Contract Before Starting A Teaching Job

Recommended Posts

Hello, I just got offered a job teaching in a government high school in bangkok but I have other interviews elsewhere next week. I don't want to be shady, but they will only hold the position until Saturday. can I sign the contract and then break it before I start working - with no penalties if I end up finding a better job? The contract is through a language school. i heard there is a probationary period of three months even if I had started working. Just want a little more time to find my best option. Thank you

You should ask this question on website :: Ajarn.com . For everything you need to know about teaching, this is the place for you to go. Good Luck.

I see teachers come and I see teachers go.

Some just disappear from day to day and some give notice. This makes the Thais think badly of foreigners and they don't give a dam about most of us.

Just break the contract if you want to. They have plenty more people lined up for the job.
