Bored shitless went to the jomtien complex last week found my previous favourite watering hole in that area STILL closed ,it seems more than 6 months now.

Now i talk to several rough looking thais sitting at the outside bar,i think its open but it seems they were the staff but have opened their own little bar.

They tell me the owner is in the monkeyhouse because of no visa?

I cannot to tell you the truth remember the owner is an Irish farang,however does anyone know if this is closed permanently.

Jimmy Halliday, the owner of the Blarney Stone, passed away in Bangkok Pattaya Hospital, at approximately 1845hrs on 4th June 2011.

Funeral rites are being held at Wat Krating Tong, Jomtiem Soi 11 at 1900hrs on Friday 10th June 2011, before a cremation ceremony on Saturday 11th June 2011 starting at 1100hrs.
