Hello All,

What is the total amount of days allowed to stay in Thailand in a one year period between tourist visas, extensions, and 30-day stamps? AND, is it within a calendar year or 365 days from first entry?

For me, I received a tourist visa (in Laos) back in September 2010 and then extended it 1 month. I then went to the U.S. for a couple of months and returned to Thailand in February 2011 with another tourist visa (in U.S.), and the 1-month extension expires today!

Thanks in advance for your response!

There is no such regulation - it was dropped several years ago. But many Consulates will not issue more than two or three tourist visas now.
