Ipad Scammer On The Thaivisa.Com Classifieds

Featured Replies

I was, and still am, looking to buy an Ipad through the classifieds and sernt a few enquiries this week to three or four people advertising - one response, to an Ipad2 64gb model said they were 400 euro, plus 20 euro post and package, 2 days to your door - payment in advance - this was three of four emails to get this info - suspicious as always I asked for an address and got one, in Athens - I then googled this and found it linked to a scammers victim forum, where someone had fallen into the trap of sending the money - something I easily could have done.<div>We know these people exist and prey day and night on us, but surely there must be a way that ThaiVisa.com can sift through genuine from the scammers in their own classifieds - I would like to know what security is in place at the classifieds to protect the buyers?</div><div>Anyway, please all beware and my advice is do not send any money to any one selling desirable products that have to be imported  - you wont see your money again.</div><div>Intyerestingly the add is already gone from the site - but if anyone wants the email address and details of this scammer - please contact me </div><div>Here are the details from the victim writing on www.anti-scam.org - his is the fifth response down from the top - <a href="http://www.anti-scam.org/guestbook.html">http://www.anti-scam.org/guestbook.html</a></div>

Please email the link to the suspected ad to support[at]thaivisa.com and we will take action.
