My 2nd Non-O Marriage Visa expires in October. As per the first one I will exit the country at that time and reenter getting a further 3 months to January at which time I want to go onto 90 day reporting. Provided I meet the conditions salting the money etc, what happens? Do they put a stamp in your passport then and every 90 days? What about if you need to travel back to Aus for family reasons (or anywhere for that matter) and this extended more than just a normal holiday is this a potential problem? Simple question I know just wanted to make sure as I can see that I will have to go back at least twice in the future.

You apply for a one year extension of stay from Immigration - they stamp permitted to stay for one year. Any travel after that will require you obtain a re-entry permit first to keep that same permitted to stay date on return. 90 day is address reporting requirement if staying here - if you leave day one is the day you return. For that you file a TM.47 with immigration at the end of each 90 day period.
