Major changes have taken place regarding supplier payments since June 1st 2025 AI Overview Chinese automakers significantly extended payment terms to their suppliers, in some cases to over 180 days, using these extended payment periods as a form of working capital to fund the intensifying price war that began in early 2023. China has implemented new regulations, effective June 1, 2025, mandating that large companies pay suppliers within 60 days, prohibiting non-cash payment coercion, and requiring timely payment for uncontested portions of invoices. Chinese automakers have pledged to adhere to these rules and shorten their payment cycles, which previously averaged 182 days, to improve supply chain health, especially in the competitive EV sector. -

Bangkok Bank - No yellow book, no new account
Please, don't open any account at this bank. They closed my account for no reason, and ask for all kind of stupid documents to get my access to my money restored. Moreover, they requested that I present my documents at my original branch only. So I had to spend 5000 baht and 20 hours of traveling to Pattaya, then a night at hotel and then have to wait for another 7 days for their reply. All this time my money balance is taken hostages at this bank. I am just a regular customer of this bank. The moment they will open my account - I will transfer my money to another bank. BANGKOK BANK - they despise their customers and their money (especially the foreign ones)! -

Something Is Up With My Neighbor
I know how you feel. I have a neighbor who addicted to ordering from Lazada and other delivery sites. Some days, the neighbor gets up to 20 deliveries between the hours of 9am and 5pm. The strange things is that so many packages go in, every day...but... Nothing comes out....EVER..... Some day, the neighbor's house will burst at the seams. What can they be doing in there, with all those deliveries? And, how can there be room to walk without tripping over packages? I know they are nice people, but when will enough be enough? Addiction afflicts us in all forms. At least, they seem to be excellent consumers.
