I somehow doubt the bullet 'fell' through the roof...

I know, nit-picking, but the standard of reporting is always low in these magazines.

Mythbusters claimed at one stage to have busted this myth, but about 2 years ago a boy in Thailand was killed by a bullet while he was swimming in a covered over pool. I saw it on the news and my gf translated it. There were pics of the bullet hole in roof etc.

The danger from falling bullets is very real. What goes up must come down and bullets come down fast enough to kill. Every time somebody fires a gun into the air, they are gambling with someone's life. In the middle-east, where people fire AK47's into the air as a form of celebration, there are many deaths from falling bullets.
