I made a thread earlier today where I requested information on where I could find a chipped PS3. My thread was quickly locked,

because apparently it broke rule 16 on the forum rules.

Ok fine, I will accept this rule in here, but I would like to know why the mods has chosen to limit the freedom of speech like this?

My point is: Buying and selling pirated stuff might be illegal, but talking and sharing information about it surely isn't!

I bet most of you, (even the guy who closed my thread) has bought pirated stuff many many times, so why are we beeing so sensitive about this?

Thailand has been under a lot scrutiny from abroad for lack of enforcing intellectual property rights and Thai Visa is not to be used as a platform to discuss where and how to obtain pirated goods.
