Pet Hotel

Featured Replies

Are there any "pet hotel" on Samui who can look after my cat with 3 one month old kittens for a few days while I'm in Bangkok?

About a month ago when I was coming home from work one evening there was a cat on the stairs up to my apartment. I played a bit with it and when I went up to my apartment it followed me and started exploring my room right away.

I gave it some squid I had in the fridge and it has stayed with me ever since. About 1 week later it gave birth to 3 kittens.

Next to Makro, you have a row of shops including Lucky Cow. There is one pet shop next door then one at the end of the row, seen a sign there about looking after pets.

They seem to be your best bet considering the age of the kittens.

There is also a vet/pet care place opposite Starbucks at BigC. A friend left her cat there for 3 weeks. I think she paid a daily rate plus supplied the food.

Roo, I did notice that shop you mentioned and will check it out.

itishothere, thanks a bunch too, will check out prices for both and post more info about it for future references.

Try the pet shop in Banrak.

It is in the row of shops on th LHS just past the turn off to the airport and after the market.

I know they kennel small dogs. not sure about cats.

They charge reasonable prices for vet. services, cheaper than the one on the ring road opposite the post office.

You could try Nicky at 'Creature Comfort Samui' (in the trades section i think).

Since 7 years I always bring my dogs to the Dogfather in Maenam and I know he also takes care of cats.

I checket out the vet clinic opposite BigC Starbucks and they charge 120 bt/day for a cat.

They wanted 180 for the mother cat and 3 kittens.

The other shop between Macro and Sirisin wanted 100 bt/day for a cat.

200 total for mother and kittens.

However, they would rather take care of pets which has been sold by them and were not so keen on taking my cats.

I'll go for the vet clinic then.

The other places are a bit far from where I live and I think prices are probably not so different.

Thanks for the tips anyway.

Turns out the vet are closed every Thursdays so I had to go to the "Dog & Cat pet shop" as it's called instead. (The one next to Macro Samui)

I have their name card which says "Boarding Service 100-150 / day".

After spoken to them today, I got much better impression of them.

I would highly recommend them.

Their phone number is: 081-956 9604, 084-879 8838
